Who Are We?

Who are Ideas 2 Ideas and why should we allow them to work with our children? That is a very good question and let us tell you a little about our organization.

The individuals behind Ideas 2 Ideas all have a background in education. Our staff has included current teachers, former teachers, homeschooling experts, school administrators, special education teachers, counselors, tutors and even college admission specialists. While we have a wide range of backgrounds, most work with us on a specific project that we may have with a student. Once we have identified the needs of the student and parents, we will assign a member of our staff to the family. They will act as project manager and if the need is there, will bring others in to help. This operational procedure has proven to be effective in helping students and parents in meeting goals.

While all of the individuals involved in Ideas 2 Ideas are associated with the education field, the origins of the organization started with parents that were concerned about their child’s education and began to homeschool their kids. While homeschooling worked very well for them, they also knew that it wasn’t for everyone. People have different circumstances and one of the biggest obstacles to overcome has to do with household finances. Not everyone can afford to spend the day homeschooling their children. But, if a parent’s income is sufficient to operate the household while having children homeschooled, they will find it has many advantages.

Even though our organization was established as a way to help parents begin the process of homeschooling, we have branched out into other areas. Here is a small sample of some of the ways that Ideas 2 Ideas have assisted students and parents in the past and in the future:

• Providing homeschooling information and guidance
• Tutoring services for middle and high school students
• Learning disability testing and planning
• College planning advice for students and parents
